We’re Victor, Lily and Christian and, as you may guess, we’re standing in front of a roll up door. That door belongs to a warehouse in Brooklyn and will soon open to a brewery, taproom, and ¡outdoor events space! that will grace the Gowanus neighborhood with small batches of delicious craft beer and a humble abode in which to enjoy it.
The name of our project is Cape Commons Brewing Co., and more than anything else, we are a social impact craft brewery. We’re committed to the belief that beer can be a tool for collective action when tapped generously for the enjoyment of all.
For every batch of beer we brew, we build one community water project through an on-the-ground partner—using the sales of our beer to invest in communities without a secure source of clean drinking water.
One Batch, One Project (at least, that’s the goal). Beer for Water.
It’ll be a bit until our batches are brewed and our fermenters are full, so in the meantime, watch the adventure here. Won’t you join us?
